February can be a long, gray month, and this time of year always reminds us how much comfort a good book can offer. Let Old Town Books be your place to slow down, warm up, and find a story that makes winter feel a little lighter.

At Book Lovers’ Night Out, enjoy themed bites and non-alcoholic sips as you chat with booksellers and get custom recommendations based on the books you love.

We’ve always believed books make some of the best gifts, whether you’re shopping for someone else or treating yourself. There’s a special joy in book matchmaking, listening to what you’re in the mood for, pulling a few titles, and watching someone find the right fit. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, pick up a Blind Date With a Book and let it surprise you.

We’ll also have a DIY bookmark bar and plenty of cozy nooks throughout the shop where you can curl up with a new read, linger a little longer, and maybe even meet a fellow book lover or two.

We’re also excited to host two of our favorite artists for the evening. Sheila from Let’s Get Inked Tattoos has created a custom, bookish tattoo flash sheet just for this event. Molly from Creative Chaos Body Care will be offering piercings with a beautiful selection of implant-grade titanium jewelry.

Tickets are $20 and include entry to this after-hours event, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and access to the DIY craft. Tattoo and piercing services are optional and priced separately.
